Junior Sales Manager – Home Care & Industrial Applications (m/f/x)

Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated Junior Sales Manager to support the development of business opportunities across Home Care, Industrial & Institutional Cleaning and selected industrial application markets. This role is particularly well suited to early-career professionals with a strong technical background who are keen to build hands-on experience in technical sales, customer management and business development within specialty chemicals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the identification and development of business opportunities in markets such as Home Care, Industrial & Institutional Cleaning, Textiles, Starch, Water Treatment, Pulp & Paper and other selected process industries.
- Contribute to the preparation and implementation of sales and marketing plans for selected customers, applications and target markets.
- Work with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs and translate them into potential commercial opportunities, with support from experienced colleagues.
- Support the positioning and promotion of our product range in Home Care and selected industrial applications.
- Coordinate customer-related activities and technical sales projects together with sales, business development, application technology and customer service teams.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Chemistry or a related technical discipline; first practical experience through internships, student jobs or thesis work in specialty chemicals, Home Care or related industries is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills in English; German or other languages are an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Willingness to travel and interest in working with international customers and colleagues.
- Curious, proactive and eager to learn, with a customer-oriented mindset, analytical thinking and the motivation to grow into a commercial role.
